Prescott Didnt Keep Cowboy Outfit

Embattled Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott had reportedly turned down the controversial cowboy outfit that he received from super casino bidder Philip Anschutz.

Anschutz is the owner of the Millennium Dome in London, and is bidding to turn the area into Britain's first super casino. Prescott has been accused of breaking ministerial codes of conduct by accepting hospitality and gifts from him.

Prescott admitted to wearing the outfit during his much criticized visit to the ranch of the casino tycoon, but claims to have not intended to keep it.

Prescott received a Stetson hat from the billionaire, as well as boots, spurs, and a belt with a sliver buckle with "JP" on it.

Blair's second in command has also been under fire for not paying taxes on the gift, but used the defense that he did not intend to keep it, that's why the duty was not payable.

Ministers are obligated to purchase from the government any gifts that they would like to keep, otherwise their departments will take possession of the item. The Wild West outfit needless to say, is being held by Prescott's.

Prime Minister Tony Blair himself reported that he declined 14 out of the 17 gifts that he received worth over 140 pounds.
